Celebrating Boston’s harbor and history with hundreds of events and activities, Harborfest is the country’s largest Fourth of July festival and features scores of family-friendly activities from June 30 through July 2 this summer.
This long-standing Boston tradition kicks off Friday, June 30 at historic Faneuil Hall. Signature programming takes place in Columbus Park throughout the weekend including the popular Arts at Harborfest festival on Saturday, July 1, and the crowd-pleasing Taste of Harborfest, featuring a Boston-wide clam chowder competition, on Sunday, July 2.
Traditional historical reenactments and Freedom Trail tours, along with other historical sites, will offer interactive experiences and festivities throughout the weekend, along with live musical entertainment and events that reflect the city’s seafaring heritage and innovative spirit.
