Boston Harbor Hotel Executive Sous Chef Garrett Welch, Pastry Chef Shawn Dresser, and the team at Boston Harbor Hotel invite their younger guests (ages 6 – 12) to explore their culinary interests in a special Chefs in the Making: Kids Cooking Class this February Vacation week.
Celebrate February vacation week with Boston Harbor Hotel’s exclusive culinary opportunity Chefs in the Making: Kids Cooking Class. Children looking to learn some basic kitchen skills will have the opportunity to learn under the expert guidance of Boston Harbor Hotel’s talented culinary team on Tuesday, February 21st or Thursday 23rd.
Executive Sous Chef Garrett Welch and Pastry Chef Shawn Dresser will lead the chefs-in-training through a tour of the pop-up Harbor Market as well as a special “behind the scenes” look at the hotel’s kitchen. Each child will learn about culinary safety and kitchen equipment and prepare two dishes – one savory and one sweet. After learning from the pros and tasting their creations, students will leave with their very own chef hat and apron to continue the fun at home.
Tickets to the Chefs in the Making classes are $50. Tickets are available through Eventbrite.
