Campra's Le Carnaval de Venise
Enjoy an enthralling spectacle of music and dance with the fully staged North American premiere of this 1699 masterpiece. A French opéra-ballet, the story follows sparring loves as they experience the delights of Carnival in exotic Venice.
Pergolesi's La Serva Padrona & Livietta e Tracollo
Humor and love abound in a double bill of Neapolitan comic opera. This lively staging is an encore of the 2014 BEMF Chamber Opera Series production that The Boston Globe praised for its "zest and earthy opulence."
