The Boston Conservatory will present the First Annual Senior Dance Performance in Boston at The Dance Complex on May 13th 2016 at 8pm. This performance will showcase the talent and artistry of the senior dance students at The Boston Conservatory as well as the choreographic talent of the senior dancers who have chosen an emphasis in creating choreography. Along with works by the senior choreographers, this show will include work by Boston Conservatory faculty and notable alumni.
Senior dance students, Ariane Michaud and Katharina Schier are the cocreators and artistic producers of this performance, which will premiere in New York City on March 16th 2016 in affiliation with The Gibney Center and Dance NOW NYC. This event will host distinguished choreographers and contacts in the area that will provide networking opportunities as the dancers pursue the early stages of their careers in the industry. With the support of The Boston Conservatory and The Dance Complex, the students are holding this event a second time in Boston in order to expand this network and connect with artists from the conservatorys local community.
