The Frog Pond Skating Spectacular will be held on Thursday, November 30th at 5:00 pm! Join the City of Boston and The Skating Club of Boston for a FREE ice show featuring The Haydenettes from The Skating Club of Boston.
Immediately following the show, Boston’s Mayor Michelle Wu, the Boston Parks and Recreation Department, and title sponsor The Province of Nova Scotia will host Boston’s signature holiday celebration, the 82nd Annual Boston Common Tree Lighting, from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm adjacent to the Visitor’s Information Center at 139 Tremont Street.
The Frog Pond will be open for public skating after the show until 9:00 pm.
About the Show:
The Frog Pond Skating Spectacular is a free, annual figure skating show produced by The Skating Club of Boston at the Boston Common Frog Pond. The Club produces two shows each year, at the Boston Common Tree Lighting ceremony and also during First Night Boston. The outdoor shows offers the public a chance to see national and international competitive figure skaters, soloists, groups, wee skaters, and Team Excel Synchronized Skating and Theatre On Ice of Boston teams all in the middle of the historic and iconic Boston Common.
