Join The Boston Comedy Festival at the Preliminary round of a nationwide stand-up competition. Forty-eight, bright-eyed comics from all over the country compete for $5,000 dollars in prize money. Erin Maguire Erin Maguire is an NYC based stand up/actor/podcast host. Shes appeared on Gotham Live, ESPN, and Game Show Network. Erin appears at clubs in NYC and beyond, and was recently featured at the Lucille Ball Comedy Festival. Boston Comedy Festival Finalist.


Jimmy Cash immy Cash has spent most of his life living the dream as a school janitor, he started performing stand up as a way to bring himself back down to earth. He draws from his experience as a father of a blended family and sobriety. Jimmy has over 600k followers on tiktok where many of his videos have gone viral and have been featured on barstool sports.


Carrie Ross Carrie Ross is an emerging comic and writer originally from Metro Detroit. Her peculiar takes on daily life and entertainment of absurd hypotheticals quickly helped her stand out among Boston's distinguished comics, and she’s since relocated to Brooklyn. Effortlessly funny, she manages to make even the darkest, most bizarre material hilarious and accessible to audiences, also she’d love it if you'd giggle before she has to return to the mothership. She's performed all over New England, New York and Baltimore, and has been featured in Thunderfest, The She-Devil Comedy Festival, The Women in Comedy Festival,The Sixth City Comedy Festival, CloudTop Comedy Festival, The North Carolina Comedy Festival, The Boston Comedy Arts Festival, and The Charm City Comedy Festival.


Sean Sullivan Sean Sullivan has cemented himself as a stand-out comedian in the legendary Boston comedy scene. With his quick wit and sharp jokes, it’s no wonder Sean was crowned 2022’s Funniest Person in Massachusetts or that he was selected to perform at the very top venues in New England including the Wang Theatre, Laugh Boston, and the Boston Calling music festival. After making his national television debut on Comedy Central, Sean has been consistently relied to deliver laughs all across the country.


Ro Crean Rob Crean has been performing stand up comedy in Boston for over a decade. He has several albums including "Sadly Sackerton" and "Local Personality" and is the host of the comedy history show "Tea Party Tonight" and the co-host of "Co-Host to Co-Host w/Creany & The Gipper". 


Angela Sawyer Angela Sawyer is a professional middle-aged nice-lady, very artsy, who runs both weekly and monthly comedy shows in terrible bars around Boston. She has an album of zoom stories on bandcamp, and used to own a record shop named Weirdo. She has done things like released two albums at the same time, fronted a hardcore band, hosted shows right inside her house, gone to school for philosophy, performed throwing cake at a lady who was throwing cake back, recorded an album inside a car, drank an absurd amount of diet coke, and a bunch of other silly stuff she has mostly forgotten because she is quite old. She still plays music around town sometimes too.


Alyce Chan Alyce Chan is a writer, producer and stand-up comedian who performs across North America. She has performed at the New York Comedy Festival at Caroline’s on Broadway, Westside Comedy Club, Broadway Comedy Club, just to name a few. Alyce founded parenting platform, MOMCOM NYC, which has garnered over millions of views and has over 125k followers. Alyce has been featured on CBC Radio, Today Parents, New York One and NBC New York Live. In 2016, she created a BYOB (Bring Your Own Baby) Comedy in Greenpoint, where parents and caregivers could catch a professional comedy show and also bring their babies. Alyce is a creative content producer for Scary Mommy and she has been featured on Vogue as the top six funniest Instagram parents to follow. Her dry sense of humor and honest views on parenting with an authentic approach makes her one of the most relatable comedians in the parent stratosphere.


Akua Doku Akua Doku is a comedian who has performed on multiple comedy stages, including The Nottingham Comedy Festival, Burbank Comedy Festival, Comic Strip Live, and the PIT (The Peoples Improv Theatre) at the 2021 and 2019 Solocom Comedy Festival in New York City. 


Son Tran Son Tran won the Prize Fest Comedy Prize, Houston’s Lafftown’s Funniest competition and was a two time finalist in the Funniest Comic in Texas. Son has performed with comics such as Rob Schneider and Gilbert Gottfried His comedy has been described as ‘deadly silly’, by himself. He has immature yet philosophical insights on family, marriage and life in general that have made audiences laugh in clubs and festivals such as Laughfest and the Limestone Comedy Festival across the US and Canada. He has also performed for the troops in Afghanistan. Son’s wife does not approve of most of his jokes about her.


Greg Romero Wilson The Monster Truck of Stand-up The Hurricane of Hilarious The Mexican Megaphone You’ve seen Greg on too many TV shows to count. “The Neighborhood”, “Upload”, “World’s Dumbest Criminals”, “Fresh Off the Boat”, “Superstore”, “Hawaii Five-O” and “Modern Family” to name a few. He’s done stand-up on Showtime, ABC, TruTV, VH1 and Comedy.TV. And he’s got a new half-hour special “Hindsight is 2020” available on Youtube. He also co-hosts the wildly popular “MMA Roasted” podcast with fellow comedian Adam Hunter. But you haven’t SEEN Greg until you’ve seen him LIVE.  Rachelle Lauzon is a Toronto based comedian whose made several festival appearances including Just for Laughs Toronto, Oddblock Festival in Winnipeg Manitoba, The Blue Whale Festival in Tulsa Oklahoma and the Big Sound Comedy Festival in Perry Sound. Rachelle has performed in comedy clubs across North America including The Hollywood Improv, The World Famous Comedy Store, New York Comedy Club, LA Comedy Club in Las Vegas and many others. Rachelle filmed her first televised set last year and will be featured on Laugh After Dark Season 3 coming out later this year. 


 Learnmore Jonasi is a Zimbabwean stand-up comedian and actor. He stands at over 6 feet, his comedy is brought to life by past experiences, observations and his view (from the top) which elicit rib-tickling laughs, regardless of the crowd. Since making his comedy debut in 2012, he has since performed with and along side the biggest names on the African Continent and performed in over 25 cities across 15 countries at various TV Shows, theatres, Comedy clubs, and Festivals. Most recently, he’s been seen on Comedy Central Africa’s Virtual Comedy Bar. In 2019 he won the National Arts Merit Awards as the Outstanding Comedian of the Year, the Savanna Comic Choice Awards as the Pan African Comic of the Year, and he was the People’s Choice Award winner in Steve Harvey’s Stand Up Spotlight competition. In 2020 he won the National Arts Merit Awards as the Outstanding Comedian of the Year. He has been seen touring all over the United States in 2022.
