Join The Boston Comedy Festival at the Preliminary round of a nationwide stand-up competition. Forty-eight, bright-eyed comics from all over the country compete for $5,000 dollars in prize money. When it's over, there will be one comic standing with a nice little bag of money and a ton of bragging rights.
Erin Maguire Erin Maguire is an NYC based stand up/actor/podcast host. Shes appeared on Gotham Live, ESPN, and Game Show Network. Erin appears at clubs in NYC and beyond, and was recently featured at the Lucille Ball Comedy Festival. Boston Comedy Festival Finalist.
Tooky Kavanagh With razor sharp wit and a charm once described as “ineffable,” Tooky (rhymes with cookie) Kavanagh speaks her mind with honesty, charisma, and edge. After just a few years on the scene, Tooky has performed coast-to-coast, headlined shows across New England, and regularly opens for nationally touring acts. She can be seen at Boston-based comedy institutions such as Laugh Boston, Nick’s Comedy Stop, and The Comedy Studio. Also, she's the one who described her own charm as “ineffable,” but it's still true!
Dillon Krause Dillon Krause is a comedian based out of New York City. He is a regular at The Comic Strip Live. Dillon created The Krause House, a web series he wrote and edited starring his real family.
Andrew Della Volpe Andrew Della Volpe is a standup comedian from Boston. Since graduating from Colby College in 2017, Andrew has performed on a nearly nightly basis throughout New England and Boston. During the pandemic, he began performing small and socially distant driveway comedy shows. Spending the summer performing in backyards all over Massachusetts, New Hampshire and New York, Andrew was able to play more than 50 shows and was featured on CBS Boston and Mix 104.1’s Karson and Kennedy radio show. In addition to working clubs all over the state, like Laugh Boston, The Comedy Studio, The Comedy Scene at Patriot Place, the legendary Nick’s Comedy Stop, and The Woohaha Comedy Club, Andrew has appeared in the Boston Comedy Festival, the Hampton Beach Comedy Festival, and in 2019 opened for Theo Von at The Wilbur Theatre and Chevalier Theatre. Andrew got his start working as an intern at Sacha Baron Cohen’s Four by Two Films.
Bill Lake Bill Lake began performing standup at age 52. He has headlined at the National Comedy Center, featured at clubs up and down the East Coast, and has performed at the Asheville Comedy Festival, the Cape Fear Comedy Festival, the Rubber City Comedy Festival, the Salem Comedy Festival, and the North Carolina Comedy Festival. He was a Finalist in Buffalo’s Funniest Contest @Helium Comedy Club in 2021. Before beginning his stand-up career, Bill was a contributing joke writer for the Late Show with David Letterman, the Late, Late Show with Craig Ferguson, and SNL’s Weekend Update.
A.J Hapenny AJ Hapenny has a unique comedy perspective and style which combines witty wordplay with organic audience interaction. With 100,000 social media followers, his act has made him a talent that is frequently requested to perform all over the Northeast. He has performed alongside great acts such as Jim Breuer, Jeff Ross and Lenny Clarke. As a Wedding Officiant, AJ has performed for 25+ weddings and has been featured in 'Engaged Magazine.'
Caroline Cooke Caroline Cooke is a Boston-based standup comic who blends social commentary and storytelling to deliver big laughs about the absurd nature of our society and daily lives. Caroline was recently featured in the Wittiest Women Showcase at the 2021 Burbank Comedy Festival and is a three-time gold medalist in the Quadrennial Comedy Games. She will also be featured in Season 12 of Last Comix Standing. Caroline performs at popular comedy clubs across New England and New York City, including West Side Comedy Club, The Comedy Studio, Off Cabot, Broadway Comedy Club, QED, and Greenwich Village Comedy Club. She also performs at corporate, charity, and private events.

Max Moacanin is a former Google Data Engineer turned stand-up comedian based in New York City. Max's comedy has been featured on Sirius XM. He is a three-time winner of the World Series of Comedy festival. In 2022, he won the festival’s contests at McCurdy’s Comedy Theatre in Sarasota, Florida and the Plano House of Comedy in Plano, Texas. In 2021, he won the festival’s contest at Laugh Boston. Max can be seen regularly performing at clubs all over New York City and throughout the country.
