Our Direct Care staff focus on supporting each of the individuals to live healthy, meaningful, engaged lives with as much independence as possible. This includes supporting their choices in terms of personal goals and aspirations. The specifics range from supervising/assisting each individual in all areas of daily living (personal care, household chores, shopping, transportation, health and wellness activities) to supporting these individuals in developing and maintaining relationships and participating in leisure activities of their choosing.
A current driver's license and available vehicle is required.
ONE YEAR EXPERIENCE IN THE FIELD OR COURSE OF RELATED STUDY IS REQUIRED
CPR/First Aid and MAP are mandatory certifications that are needed to be obtained within the first 6 months of hire.
