Are you interested in Amateur "Ham" Radio? Want to learn more about radio communication, technology and innovation? Join us for Field Day!


The Boston Amateur Radio Club is hosting an open house and participating in a worldwide communications event! This is one of the biggest amateur radio events of the year, a cross between an emergency exercise, contest, party, and public relations event. Participants (including clubs like Boston Amatuer Radio Club) set up in a temporary location using emergency power and make contacts for 24 hours.


Located at the Hale Education Facility in Westwood, we welcome visitors with zero knowledge on radio communication or the amateur radio service. Come by for the day or come by for an hour! Plenty of people will be onsite to talk and teach about Amateur Radio and its service to the community.
