Join The Boston Amateur Radio Club for their monthly meeting and learn about amateur radio operating.
BARC holds a monthly General Meeting on the third Thursday of the month at 7:30 pm. Anyone may attend a meeting regardless of license status or BARC membership, and we encourage people who are curious about the club or amateur radio to join us. Of course, only BARC members are allowed to vote on business matters.
Currently, meetings are being held at A2 and using the Zoom teleconferencing platform. Zoom clients are available for most platforms; see https://www.zoom.us/ for information and downloads. Meeting information and a link will be published in the monthly SPARC newsletter and on the main barc.org page on the day of the meeting. Talkaround will be on the 145.230 Boston repeater.
We suggest setting your Zoom name to your name plus callsign (if any) to help everyone identify you.
The Zoom meeting room will be opened at 7:00 for a period of socializing.
