Sudbury Valley Trustees, Hygge House Books, and Athina Books present Books at the Barn - A new activity to support literacy and community!
Stop in at the barn at Wolbach Farm (18 Wolbach Road, Sudbury) to browse and shop for books and enjoy the company of friends in a unique historic setting! Adults need their fun time during the golden (or witching) hour after work and before dinner.
The holidays are approaching swiftly. Find some titles and Hygge merch to suit everyone on your shopping list. Hygge House Books brings a large selection of new books, children's through adult. A portion of the book and merch sales will benefit the Community Book Nook Initiative by @hyggehousebooks.
While there, give new life to old pages in an easy hands-on workshop where you will learn to transform discarded books into beautiful paper flowers through simple folding, cutting, and shaping techniques to craft unique blossoms—perfect as gifts, home decorations, or keepsakes. It’s a creative way to enjoy book art while saving old books from the trash. No prior crafting experience needed, just a love of books, sustainability, and creativity! The papercraft project is sponsored by Athina Books, a used and antiquarian bookstore, opening in Sudbury, November 2025.
