Join historian and activist Katherine Connelly as she introduces a previously unpublished text by the British socialist suffragette Sylvia Pankhurst.


Based on Sylvia's tours of the US in 1911 and 1912, A Suffragette in America details picket lines in New York, marches in Boston, prisons in Chicago, and horrific racism in Tennessee. It is a book which speaks urgently to the present.


Katherine will be signing copies of the book at the event.
