Hopkinton State Park boasts more than 1,500 acres of natural forest and open fields. Hopkinton Reservoir, a 175-acre spring-fed lake, features 3 islands, 2 swimming beaches, miles of trails, stunning vistas, and 1 totally awesome boathouse! There are also over 15 locations for trail riding, rock climbing, mountain biking, and hiking.


Don’t forget to bring a friend for a kayak or paddleboard lesson!

Join us for a day of peaceful water exploration on the beautiful Lake Cochituate in Cochituate State Park. Nestled in the middle of busy Natick, Wayland, and Framingham, this family-friendly state park is perfect for relaxing on the sandy beach, cooling off with a swim, and, of course, heading out for a paddle on a kayak, canoe, or stand-up paddleboard.

You’ll quickly see why so many families enjoy spending their days at Spot Pond. Grab a paddle and venture through the quiet lake surrounded by forest. Rent a rowboat, canoe, or kayak, enjoy miles of scenic hiking and biking trails in the woods, or go fishing for trout and bass. While you’re visiting the area, be sure to paddle out to one of our three Spot Pond islands, where you can find a large variety of birds and other animals. With so many choices, there’s an activity everyone in the family will enjoy!
