Drop in any time between 11am and 3pm on 2/25! We'll be taking a closer look the science behind how pressure was used in the Waterworks' steam powered water pumps and how pressure is used in Rocket Ships. We'll be using air pressure to make our own balloon rockets and soda bottle rockets in two totally different ways! Stick around for our 15-minute show "It's not Rocket Science! Or is it?" at 12:00pm and 1:45pm where we break down how the way Rockets use pressure is similar and different to the way our pumps used pressure.
This event is recommended for ages 5-13 and is free of charge, suggested donation $5. Help us monitor capacity by reserving your free tickets online in advance. If you can no longer attend for any reason, simply cancel your order online to free up your spot for someone else. Please note that due to the current mandates in place for the City of Boston, all attendees over 12 years of age must show proof of vaccination upon arrival, and all attendees over 2 years of age must wear a face covering over their nose and mouth for the duration of their visit.
