Tracy K. Smith, whose most recent book is Fear Less: Poetry in Perilous Times, will read new poems, with January Gill O’Neil, whose newest collection is Glitter Road.

Founded in 1973, the award-winning Blacksmith House Poetry Series brings established and emerging writers of poetry and fiction to Harvard Square. In person readings will take place at 56 Brattle on Mondays at 8pm. Admission is $5, tickets are available at the door.
January Gill O’Neil
January Gill O’Neil is the author of four poetry collections, including Glitter Road (2024), all published by CavanKerry Press. A Cave Canem fellow, she teaches at Salem State University and in the Bread Loaf School of English summer program.
Tracy K. Smith
Tracy K. Smith is a Pulitzer Prize-winning poet, memoirist, editor, translator and librettist who served as the 22nd Poet Laureate of the United States from 2017-19. Her most recent book is Fear Less: Poetry in Perilous Times.
