Founded in 1973, the award-winning Blacksmith House Poetry Series brings established and emerging writers of poetry and fiction to Harvard Square. In person readings will take place at 56 Brattle on Mondays at 8pm. Admission is $5, tickets are available at the door.
Phyllis Levin
Phyllis Levin’s An Anthology of Rain is forthcoming. She is the author of five previous poetry collections and the editor of The Penguin Book of the Sonnet. Her honors include a Fulbright Scholar Award to Slovenia, an Ingram Merrill Grant, and fellowships from the Amy Lowell Trust, the Bogliasco Foundation, the Guggenheim Foundation, and the National Endowment for the Arts. Levin’s work has appeared in AGNI, The Atlantic, Best American Poetry, The New Yorker, Paris Review, Poetry, and elsewhere.
Rosanna Warren
Rosanna Warren is the author of Hindsight and six previous volumes of poetry and is a professor emerita in the John U. Nef Committee on Social Thought at the University of Chicago. She is a recipient of awards from the Academy of American Poets and the American Academy of Arts and Letters, among others. She lives in New York City.
