What is it like to live at the intersections of Blackness, queerness, and aging? Simmons University Professor Gary Bailey, DHL, MSW, ACSW, has decades of professional and lived experience with this topic. Join us as Gary facilitates a panel of Black queer people who are at various points on the aging spectrum. This will be a lively, heartfelt, informative, and humorous presentation!
This intergenerational event is sponsored by LexPride as part of our Celebrating LGBTQ+ Seniors project, which is supported by a grant from the Dana Home Foundation. It is cosponsored by Lexington Senior Services, Arlington Council on Aging, and Arlington LGBTQIA+ Rainbow Commission.
