Black August is an annual uplifting of Black, incarcerated people's fight for liberation and dignity. Wayland "X" Coleman organizes in this legacy. So we'll bring together Wayland and friends to share poetry - celebrating the role of poetry, art, and culture in our fight for justice and liberation.


Featuring: yummy homemade treats, calls to action to bring Wayland Coleman home, and PRIZES! Full poet roster TBA!
