Join Housing Families’ Young Professional Advisory Council (YPAC) at Idle Hands Craft Ales Brewery and Taproom on Thursday, November 2 for some bites, donated by Dockside Restaurant & Bar in Malden, brews and to learn more about the mission of Housing Families and YPAC’s efforts to help bring awareness to homelessness in the greater Boston area.
Bring an unwrapped toy for the Housing Families Holiday Toy Drive and be automatically entered into a raffle to win great Idle Hand swag.
Housing Families was founded in 1986 by community members concerned about the growing crisis of homelessness among families in Greater Boston. Since then, Housing Families has grown into one of the largest providers of family shelter in Massachusetts and has served over 3,000 families. Housing Families’ central mission is to help families build the skills and understanding they need to make a successful transition into their own home, and to prevent any recurrence of homelessness.
