We will visit popular birding sites and well-kept secret sites of Nantucket Sound and the Cape Cod Canal for a multitude of wintering species. We'll explore a variety of habitats, such as fresh and saltwater ponds and thickets from Sandwich to Wood’s Hole. Possible species include yellow-breasted chat, orange-crowned warbler, Barrow’s goldeneye, northern shoveler, and canvasback. If time permits, we will stop at Mass Audubon’s Daniel Webster Wildlife Sanctuary in Marshfield for raptors. Lunch, not included in fee, will be at a heated restaurant.

Open to adults and anyone age 16-17 with an adult.
