Explore music’s power to create visceral worlds for its listeners—with and without the use of words. The Neave Trio, Longy’s Alumni Artists, Faculty Ensemble-in-Residence, will travel through the works of Roussel, Korngold, and Shostakovich, including his rarely heard Seven Romances on Poems by Alexander Blok. Joined by soprano and Longy faculty member, Karyl Ryczek, this performance will take you on a whirlwind journey that transcends time, space, and the expected.
