Beth Gibbons is embarking on her first-ever North American solo tour following the release of her debut solo album Lives Outgrown. The shows will mark her first time performing in North America since Portishead’s 2011 tour 13 years ago. Her newest album, Lives Outgrown, was released in 2024 to universal critical acclaim, including the New York Times, who raved, “Her new songs take a long view: pondering lifetimes and generations, connecting personal concerns to planetary ones,” and NPR, who wrote, “It is surprising, reassuring, inspiring even how lyrically familiar Lives Outgrown seems, the testament of an uncanny singer simply making it through each day. It feels as if she's invited us over to sit a spell.” The album was nominated for the 2024 Mercury Prize and named one of the best records of the year by the New York Times, NPR, Paste, Treble, Uncut, MOJO, and Crack Magazine.
