Berklee's Summer in the City series features more than 200 free concerts by students, faculty, and alumni at iconic locations throughout Greater Boston from June to September.

About:


Berklee's Summer in the City series features free concerts by students, faculty, and alumni at iconic locations throughout Greater Boston. Since its inception in 2006, the series has featured more than 10,000 performers showcasing a variety of music genres, including contemporary, folk, jazz, Latin, R&B, and world.


Past performers have included AdriAnne Lenker, Betty Who, Esperanza Spalding, Laufey, and Ripe.


In addition to student performances, this series provides opportunities for Berklee students to learn and work in artist booking, live sound engineering, project management, and street team organization.


Berklee’s Summer in the City is produced by the Concert and Production team, part of Berklee’s Communications and Marketing division.
