Special 35mm Screening! Benefit for Disaster Relief!

Shot largely in the Southeast Texas region devastated by Hurricane Harvey over the summer, Terrence Malick’s TREE OF LIFE is a remarkable internal epic – a coming of age film like no other. Reflecting on his childhood, an architect (Penn) has visions of the distant past and the far future, as well as his own life as a child in suburban Texas.
TREE OF LIFE (2011) dir Terrence Malick w/Sean Penn, Brad Pitt, Jessica Chastain, Hunter McCracken, Laramie Eppler [139 min; 35mm]

50% of each ticket sold will be donated to disaster relief for the victims of Harvey and Irene as well as the wildfires plaguing the American west. Tickets for this special benefit screening are $20 for all. No passes accepted.
