In celebration of Braille Literacy Month, National Braille Press (NBP) will host “Bend for Braille” a virtual yoga fundraiser with Jillian Ricks, founder of Jillian’s Healing Arts Center, on Saturday, January 23 at 10:00am. Jillian's Healing Arts Center is Tennessee’s leading holistic center offering wellness for the mind, body, and spirit. From beginners to the most experienced yogi, Jillian will use description to lead virtual studio attendees through an hour-long class and will also be available after class for a Q&A. Jillian is blind and has been reading braille books since she was a kid, and used braille books to get through college, yoga, school, massage therapy school, and natural health school.
