This 3-week series with John Rex will introduce basics of coming to a yoga studio and attending class. Class time will be devoted to yoga poses designed to gain length in the spine, space in the chest, and flexibility in the spine, hips, and shoulders. Yoga props will be used to enable students to learn to gently and safely stretch, strengthen, and find balance. By taking this introductory series, students will develop a personalized understanding of their options for further yoga study. Best results are obtained by attending all three classes but students are welcome at any point in the series.
