It's fall now, and soon it will be the long-awaited (for the nerdiest of us) Beaujolais Nouveau Day, where the producers release the carbonic maceration-laden, bubble-gum, tart cherry Gamays meant to drink quickly, chilled and with joy. We're also pairing that joy with lamb merguez, hunks of bread, slices of cheese, and the famous (can we say that yet?) Rebel Rebel ham & butter sandos from our dear friends at Formaggio's Kitchen. Make a reservation for a table (firey or otherwise) on the Bow Market patio with Resy and come sip [safely] with us!
In addition, Wild Child has curated a Beaujolais Nouveau-inspired book selection available for purchase Thursday, 11/19 til out. These books are French-to-English translations from immigrant or first generation narratives in poetry, young adult, and literary fiction.
