Starting in July 2025, Beacon Ensemble will host a short three-day festival celebrating emerging contemporary classical artists and the works of living composers, alongside musical gems from the 20th and 21st centuries.
On day two of the inaugural Beacon New Music Festival, Hornist Amber Dai and violist Robert Bruce present the debut performance of their new music duo, Bad Time to Scream. Their ensemble is dedicated to creating a space for experimentation, boldly embracing the messy and loud aspects of the creative process. They will showcase a fresh program featuring almost all world premieres by composers based in New York City and Boston.
Doors will open at 6:30 pm with music to commence at 7 pm.
