For more than 25 years, the Beacon Hill Business Association (BHBA) has sponsored the Beacon Hill Holiday Stroll, a highly anticipated festive kick off to the holiday shopping season.
Starting at 5:00pm Charles Street from Cambridge Street to Beacon Street is closed off to traffic, allowing for holiday shoppers to stroll through all of its shops and offices enjoying refreshments, live music, and traditional bell ringers. For children, the festivities will begin during the earlier portion of the evening at the Hill House Community Center where Santa will be on hand to take photographs with local children, followed by a Christmas Tree lighting at 7:00pm.
SCHEDULE:
- 3pm-5:30pm: pictures with Santa at the Hill House
- Starting at 5pm: Charles Street is closed to traffic
- 7pm: Beacon Hill tree lighting at the corner of Charles Street & Cambridge Street
