Are you a competitive athlete wondering how to increase muscle mass or recover faster? Are you jumping back into a workout routine after taking months or years off? Join Boston Landing and Cambridge Naturals for a Q&A panel focusing on maintaining strength and vitality, as well as steps for recovery after a new or challenging workout. We have industry experts ready to give advice on all things fitness. All attendees will have an opportunity to ask the panel questions, as well as be involved in a networking session after the panel concludes. All attendees will receive a flexi tapper massager, massage roller, massage balm and the opportunity to sign up for a free stretching session.


Speakers Include:


Moderator, Mark Coogan - Coach New Balance Boston, Former World Campionship and Olympic Runner


Mark was the first Massachusetts resident to ever run a sub 4 minute mile. He was a 1996 Olympian in the Marathon. Coached at MIT, Tufts and Dartmouth. Now Mark is the Head Coach for New Balance Boston. Mark has coached numerous Olympians and World Championship distance runners.


Josh Crosby – Co-Founder BDY SQD


Josh Crosby is a former professional ultra-endurance athlete, Ironman World Champion competitor and World Champion rower. He is the co-founder of BDY SQD, a growing recovery studio concept that offers assisted stretching, infrared sauna and NormaTec compression boots. Josh brings an elite caliber athletic pedigree to his work in health and fitness. He is the co-creator of rowing based fitness programs Indo-Row™ and ShockWave both of which can be found in 100’s of clubs world-wide with partners such as industry leaders Equinox and Fitness First. Crosby is Orangetheory Fitness’ indoor rowing consultant and has been the face, athletic inspiration and product tester for K-Swiss, Gatorade, Zoot, Nike, New Balance, Asics and Adidas. Josh has been an expert on The Today Show, CNN, The Doctors', Fox News and Fit TV.


Denise Frost – Clinic Manager, Director of Movement Health, Physical Therapist at Spaulding Rehabilitation


Denise has more than 20 years’ experience as a physiotherapist working in outpatient care, managing musculoskeletal pain syndromes, orthopedic conditions and sports injuries. She has pursued extensive continuing education in clinical reasoning and manual therapy, and has a special interest in human motor control & learning. She is a Certified Performance Matrix Consultant and provides movement education and training to promote and accelerate skill acquisition, assisting clients reach performance goals while minimizing injury. Denise is also a certified Comprehensive Pilates & GYROTONIC TM instructor. Denise manages Spaulding Outpatient Center in Brighton, MA. where she also runs the Movement Health Program.


Seth Bovio – President, Superieur Electrolytes


Seth Bovio is an experienced product formulator, a 3-time Boston Marathon finisher, a regular yogi and a natural foodie. He began formulating sports nutrition products in the 1980s and then proceeded to work with Olympians Mark Croghan and Bob Kennedy for BB Labs prior to starting Superieur Electrolytes in 2017.


Justin Doran – Certified Personal Trainer at NB Fitness Club


As a former athlete Justin always wanted to make sure he was doing everything possible to be able to perform his best. Since there was so much conflicting information out there he made the decision to go to school and receive a bachelors in exercise science. Justin tried to soak up as much knowledge as he could about health and performance, only to find that they are far from the same thing. Now it his mission to help people cut through the misinformation and streamline their results.
