Be‑In Joy is a four‑hour, open‑air reset button. We show up to be happy, spread that happiness, and lift each other up—no drama, no sales pitch, no agenda beyond good vibes. Think of it as a pocket of the world we all want to live in: strangers chatting like friends, spontaneous laughter, simple activities that get people connecting, and an unspoken agreement to leave the usual worries at the gate.
Crowds amplify emotion. When a few hundred people gather in peace and joy, that feeling snowballs and rolls out into the city. You leave lighter, the folks you meet afterward feel it, and the ripple keeps moving.
Golden rule: positivity only—every word should push hope, love, and forward momentum.
The event is part of an effort by the soon‑to‑be nonprofit Be‑In Initiative, whose mission is to solve all the world's problems. Seriously. We aim at the root and swap fear, greed, and division for understanding, compassion, and unity by giving people a place to practice and experience kindness and connection. The plan is have the events regularly and in cities all over the world. This will shift individual attitudes and, ultimately, the way society operates.
The afternoon features casual salsa lessons, active‑listening exercises with conversational prompts, a Gratitude Tree for sharing notes of thanks, relaxed Conversation Stations, and a few easy lawn games to keep things playful.
