On Wednesday, November 5th, 2014 The Boston Center for Adult Education, known for its deep roots in the Boston chef and restaurant community, will continue its culinary series called “R & D” – (Research and Development) in which chefs and restaurateurs opening new restaurants can test their ideas on an audience of eager diners looking to get a taste of a fresh new creation. In November, BCAE will welcome LOYAL NINE for the next Restaurant R & D event.
Named for the historic group of Boston artisans and distillers who inspired the Sons of Liberty, LOYAL NINE promises to spark a revolution among contemporary food lovers when this exciting new restaurant and café opens in East Cambridge early in 2015. Chef Marc Sheehan and his stalwart team will be serving up dishes like: Scituate Periwinkles with Hard Cider and Dulse Sourdough, a Fried Clam and Pig Ear Roll, and Whole Roasted Romanesco with Littleneck Clams, Bartlett Pear and Osetra Caviar. Diners will have the opportunity to try these dishes and provide feedback and contribute to decisions for this highly anticipated startup restaurant. Well-armed with questions about concept, design and experience – the folks at LOYAL NINE are promising an interactive evening at the BCAE that no self-respecting foodie will want to miss.
Seats are limited and tickets go on sale October 15th, 2014 at 12:00AM. Tuition is $35 per person. For more information or to purchase tickets visit: http://education.bcae.org/restaurantR&D.html Act fast! The last R & D series sold out in less than 24 hours
