Honing your knife skills is the most important way to finesse your artistry in the kitchen. Through a combination of demonstration and class practice, you will learn how to chop, dice, and slice like a pro. Chef Didem Hosgel will demonstrate cutting techniques for a variety of different vegetables which you will then practice on your individual cutting board. You’ll learn about sharpening your knife, the many different types of knives and their applications, as well as general knife care. We'll make a meal which showcases all of the cuts including baked chicken, sauteed vegetables, and a winter salad. Instructor: Didem Hosgel

This class will meet in-person at CCAE with a limited student capacity. Our in-person class guidelines for the fall can be found at ccae.org/in-person-classes.
