Wake up your Sunday mornings at lululemon at the Prudential Center - join us for complimentary community workout classes!
Barre combines movements derived from ballet complimented with elements of Pilates, yoga and strength training. Class will begin with grounding work progressing to a plank series. Deanna will deliver a full body workout focused on strengthening the core, toning the glutes and thighs! Exercises will focus on small isometric movements targeting various muscle groups with recovery and stretch time included. Class is open to all levels. Deanna will cue for alignment and form, as well as, assist with adjustments and modifications throughout class.
During college, Deanna found a passion for fitness, hitting the gym and enrolling in health and wellness courses. Upon returning from college, she danced with Bay State Ballet in the Merrimack Valley for several years and began to incorporate yoga and spin.
Eventually, she stepped into her first barre class and hasn’t looked back since! Between the music, energy and almost immediate results she was instantly addicted. Deanna believes, “there are so many aspects of a barre class to love; the mind-body connection, the strength and definition it gives to the body, and lastly the physical and mental confidence.” She is also a full time educator and giving that hour to herself several times a week is the “perfect balance” for her life.
