Canadian rockers Barenaked Ladies were recently awarded Canada’s highest musical honor with their induction into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame at the 2018 Juno Awards. The event celebrated the band’s impressive achievements over their 30-year career including Juno Award wins, Grammy nominations, 15 million albums sold worldwide and a long string of hit songs like “If I had $1,000,000,” “One Week,” “Brian Wilson,” “The Old Apartment,” and more. The band’s 15th studio album, “Fake Nudes,” was released last fall.
“We’re thrilled to have Barenaked Ladies celebrate their 30th year together with us in Newburyport. The group has been beloved by River listeners since we signed on-air,” said Marshall. “With Barenaked Ladies, Phillip Phillips, Anderson East and The Aldous Collins Band, we are going to have a festival filled with really talented musicians performing incredibly great songs.”.
