David Pietrowski was an avid runner until he suddenly started to experience excessive knee pain. Not sure what to do, he started to take cortisone injections in hopes that it would help alleviate the pain he was feeling. After a couple failed attempts, Dave thought it was time to give up running altogether, luckily for him that was until he learned about minimalist running. Six years later, David is now running the Boston Marathon & other trail marathons, while he wears his go-to minimalist running shoes, Vibram FiveFingers.
