Paolo Scavino is a historical winery in the Barolo region of Piedmont, Italy. Family owned in its fourth generation, the winery is run by Enrico Scavino and his two daughters, Elisa and Enrica. Their work is inspired by the love and respect they have for their land and they pursue a purity of expression , complexity and elegance for their wines. Piedmont is a place most famous for the nebbiolo grape, and where nebbiolo grape grows best. Naturally, the Scavino estate is known for its 7 Baroli produced from 19 single vineyards across six Barolo villages. However what we love most about Piedmont , and a lesser known fact about the region, is the broad range of other interesting red and white grape varietals that the region offers, and the Scavino portfolio delivers great expressions of these as well.
