In the fifth season of “Babylon Berlin,” loosely based on the novel “Märzgefallene” by Volker Kutscher, Volker Bruch as Gereon Rath and Liv Lisa Fries as Charlotte Ritter return in the lead roles. Eight new episodes shed light on the days between the Nazi takeover and the Reichstag fire. “Babylon Berlin” dances its final dances, celebrates dazzling nights, travels to Cologne and Paris, and returns again and again to Berlin.
