This workshop is for Ashtanga Yogis looking to broaden their understanding of yoga beyond asana, putting into practice pratyahara (sense withdrawal), dharana (concentration), and dhyana (meditation). This workshop will include asana practice, lecture, and mindfulness meditation exercises. A familiarity with the Ashtanga asana method is helpful but not necessary. Bring your favorite translation of Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras if you have one.
