Last year, Jamal Grant led the Ase Research Film Project, a team of four millennial, African-American, scholar-activists, to South Africa on an exploratory journey to understanding wealth inequality, race relations and progress in South Africa 25 years since Apartheid’s end.

Meet Mr. Grant and learn more about his team’s experiences, highlights and insights after their two-week journey through discussions, travels and interviews with South Africans citizens.
