Expanded into 27 Greater Boston Area Neighborhoods and Towns and Featuring 77 All-New Events. The Fall Edition is September 26 - October 5; A 10 Day Celebration of the Arts and Culture in Boston and Beyond.
Stealth Yarn Bombing; a Wearable Art Extravaganza; a hot CD release party featuring live jazz, sizzling BBQ and fiery libations; an iconic experience at the 30th anniversary screening of the Talking Heads documentary “Stop Making Sense” with costumed participants and 80’s karaoke; or a chance to exhibit your artwork along with Sidewalk Sam – these are one-of-a-kind experiences featured in this Fall’s edition of ArtWeek.
ArtWeek Boston kicks-off its third edition September 26 - October 5, as 77 events resulting from collaborations between more than 130 organizations and partners will take place in 27 Greater Boston area neighborhoods, in Boston and outside the city, including Cambridge, Lowell, South Hamilton and Harvard, MA.
In keeping with the tradition established in the two previous editions, Fall ArtWeek will bring a full array of artistic and creative experiences, designed to involve, invigorate and ignite imaginations and interaction with audiences. Events will be offered for all audiences, including families, sleek sophisticates, young professionals, and cognoscenti, featuring global cultural experiences from free to $50. More than half of the events are free, and many of the paid events are very affordably priced at $5 - $20.
