A series of free "first Wednesday" evenings on the Duck Village Stage at Aeronaut & curated by Arts Fuse critics, who will present (and then interview) performers, artists, and writers they believe should be heard, seen, and supported. AF editor William Marx will MC the evening; reviewers from the magazine (http://artsfuse.org/) will host a Q & A with the artists they have chosen.


The line-up for the second "first Wednesday" gathering:


1) Poet Kim Garcia (https://www.kim-garcia.com/bio/), the author of The Brighter House, winner of the 2015 White Pine Press Poetry Prize and DRONE, winner of the 2015 Backwaters Prize, will read. Recommended by Arts Fuse writer Elizabeth Graver.


2) Folk Singer Lisa Bastoni (http://www.lisabastoni.com) and husband, Chris Boucher, writer (author of the novels Golden Delicious and How to Keep Your Volkswagen Allive) and performer. who also edits Post Road Magazine. Recommended by Arts Fuse writer Elizabeth Graver.


3) Paul Hansen of The Grownup Noise (http://www.thegrownupnoise.com), "a rousing and innovative pop-music outfit" that bridges the gap between Americana music and Indie Rock. Recommended by Arts Fuse critic Blake Maddux.


Parking Info:
There is a parking lot on Tyler St. (https://goo.gl/maps/G4Ax19HnLYw), that could be utilized, if not full when folks get there. And check out the possibility of an Ames Business Parking lot. It's directly across Dane Street, from the end of Tyler Street


WHATEVER YOU DO, DON'T PARK IN THE CHURCH LOT!!! THEY TOW!!!


They tag cars after 8 pm on Properzi Way, as well as other permit only streets nearby. The alternative is finding a metered space right on Somerville Ave. (Meters are in effect til 8 pm). There’s public trans (buses that go up and down Somerville Ave. #83 and #87) …. or walking distance from Porter Square (.9 mile trek) or Union Square (.8 mile trek)
