Program Description
Join us for an Artist Talk with artists from the Cambridge Art Association's Small Group Show Workshop.
Join us for a conversation with four artists from the exhibition Still as the World is Never Still, moderated by Missy Arellano. The exhibition features ten artists whose work explores holding onto what cannot be held—the shift of seasons, cycles of birth and death, memory and longing, and the experience of living. Through diverse practices including digital art, fiber dyeing, painting, and photography, the artists seek to capture fleeting moments and create stillness amid time's constant movement.
This exhibition is the result of the Cambridge Art Association's Fall Workshop: Small Group Show Workshop, taught by Mallory Ruymann, where artists Yue Hua, Pam Kainz, Monica Kwok, and Kiyomi Yatsuhashi—along with six others—developed every aspect of a professional group exhibition. The artists will discuss their work and creative processes.
