Please join us for an artist talk and demonstration with artist William Van Beckum!
William Van Beckum, the solo artist of "Ghost Lands: Pictures in Silver," will be at Gallery 263 to share his influences and ideas for the exhibition. He will also perform a demonstration, and explain his process in the context of darkroom photography.
In "Ghost Lands: Pictures in Silver," artist William Van Beckum recreates landscape images from past and present using a combination of modern and antique photographic techniques to challenge the idea that photography may have a role in the protection of public lands.
