The art of Sharif Muhammad will be hanging at the J.P. Licks in Coolidge Corner for only few more days but first, we celebrate with an artist reception. Come in for ice cream, enjoy his joyful artwork, play trivia to win prizes, and help create a community art project while hanging out with friends! Come for a couple minutes or stay for an hour or all night long. Complimentary coffee available the whole night! This event is free and open to all.


This series was about intentionally unplugging from the struggles and political climate of the country and celebrating the pure and unburdened joy of children, summer colors and children of color. While his intentions were not political, the celebration of the beauty in the diversity of our children has become political in and of itself.
