Welcome to the Artists' Group of Charlestown's annual event at City Square Park: Art in the Park! Over 30 artists are accepted into a juried process to exhibit their works including fine art such as photography, watercolors, oils, acrylics, drawings, printmaking, and sculpture. Fine craftspeople also showcase metalwork, jewelry, ceramics, handblown glass, and handmade wearable art and home accent pieces. Come and browse for free. Shop gifts for friends and home decor for your city dwelling. Meet the artists and artisans in person, ask questions about their subject matter, creative process, and materials they work with. It is a fun and memory-making experience to buy work from artists whom you've met in person, having seen their work in an open-air, fine art market setting. Come join us for this popular event we've held for more than two decades at City Square Park. Only a 4 minute walk from North Station or the Navy Yard. Small enough to not be overwhelmed, yet plenty of variety to find diverse offerings, different artists and styles, and interesting pieces to add to your collections! Free to attend, open to all.
