Want to meet the painter behind the new mural "Spaces of Hope" at the Rose Kennedy Greenway? You have the opportunity! Mehdi Ghadyanloo, the Iranian painter who recently completed this eye-catching work of art, will be at an art dinner at Lala Rokh restaurant in Beacon Hill on Thursday, November 17th at 6 P.M. 100% of the ticket proceeds will benefit the Rose Kennedy Greenway! The reception will begin at 6 P.M., and Mehdi will discuss the inspirations behind his work in Boston, Tehran, and beyond. Dinner will begin at 7 P.M.


Attendees have the option to purchase tickets for just the reception for $50, or the reception and dinner for $100.


"Spaces of Hope" marks Mehdi's American debut. He gained international recognition after painting over 100 public art pieces in his native Tehran, where he studied painting at the University of Tehran. Known for paintings with surrealistic influences, Mehdi's work depicts themes of happiness, imagination, and dreams. He has gained increasing notoriety as his surrealist works have rocketed him to the world stage of public art, receiving accolades from CNN, the Guardian, Huffington Post, and more.
