Armagnac Week at Troquet on South, March 3 through March 7
Troquet is celebrating Armagnac, a unique French alcoholic beverage. This grape brandy is only produced in the Armagnac region of southwestern France. Armagnac Week will be held from March 3 through March 7.
Guests may purchase one-ounce tasting pours of Armagnacs from Castarède, Chateau du Tariquet, Domaine Laballe, and even a 1970s bottle from J. Danflou. A flight of 3 Armagnac will be available. And a Vieux Carré cocktail will be featuring the Tariquet VS Armagnac.
On Thursday, March 5, join Andrew Gross from importer Discovery Bottles who will guide us through the tasting and offer his perspective on these premier brandies.
All Armagnac will be available while supplies last. The bar does not accept reservations; it is first-come, first-served.
Troquet boasts an award-winning wine list curated by owner and sommelier Chris Campbell. Troquet has been providing fine dining to the Boston area since 2002. For inquiries, contact General Manager Jake Tringali at [email protected].
