For this workshop, well explore the foundations of arm balancing and give you tips to get your body off the ground with more ease. This fun, challenging sequence of arm-balances is designed to teach you how to do arm-balances with more confidence. No matter where you are in your arm balance practice, there will be something for you to learn and practice. Expect to build strength, a deeper understanding of alignment and technique of the poses, and have fun in the process. Before we get into arm balancing, we'll begin the workshop with a short vinyasa sequence to help warm up the body and activate the necessary points in the body to prepare you for poses such as crow, Kakasana and side crow, Parva Bakanasa pose.
Caitlin is passionate about helping those she connects with feel more grounded in their bodies and strengthen their inner guidance system through movement. In addition to her SwetStudio certification, Caitlin holds a 300-hour RYT certification through Yoga Alliance, a holistic health coach certification through the Institute of Integrative Nutrition (IIN), and a somatic healing certification through My Vinyasa Practice. Caitlin discovered her love for aerial arts in 2022 when she began practicing flow arts. Besides teaching at SwetStudio, Caitlin is also a graduate student at Bay Path University, studying Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a concentration in trauma.
