Diane Grossman is a professor of philosophy and Chair of the Women's & Gender Studies Program at Simmons College. She is the author of "Existentialism and the Philosophical Tradition," and "Looking at Gay and Lesbian Life." She will discuss how feminism has evolved from its beginnings to where it is today. Her lecture concludes the WomenExplore ten week lecture series titled, "From Monologue to Dialogue: Building Community. WomenExplore is a lecture and discussion forum that sponsors a lecture series in the spring and the fall which features experts in their field lecturing on timely subjects. There is always a period of Q & A following the lecture where the audience has the opportunity to create a dialogue with the speaker. Registration begins at 11:00, with a member presenting a focus at 11:30, and the lecture begins promptly at noon.
